Information packs, including an Application for Enrolment (Year 7) form have been sent home to all Year 6 parents. All students, including those attending independent schools, need to return this form to school before Monday 18th May. If you are seeking a place at a Government Secondary School, please be sure to read the information carefully, most of our local secondary schools have restricted enrolments, dependent on zones and whether it is your designated neighbourhood school.
For any enquiries about this process please feel welcome to speak to Jacki Hopkins.

Don’t forget your homework this week folks…
Literacy: Spell Write Unit 6 is due Friday. The Unit 6 test will be on the following Monday.
Maths: Design a maze on an A4 sheet. Make it creative and colourful with a clearly marked start and finish. You also need to write directions to successfully navigate your maze from start to finish ON A SEPARATE sheet of paper (so that we can have a go at each others mazes on Friday and then check the instructions if we’re stuck).
Science: Complete the chemicals task on the worksheet handed out. List all the chemicals you can think of from home, school or the supermarket. Then group them by something they have in common and justify your groupings. For example, you may group them based on their uses (cleaning products could be one group..) or their states (solids could be one group).
ALL of the above is due in on Friday May 1. Happy homeworking!!
